Bright Futures Scholarship Information for Returning Student

General Info:

  • Bright Futures students who meet scholarship requirements will receive a minimum yearly scholarship award of $1,000, up to a maximum of four years, while enrolled in college.
  • Awardees must be enrolled in a postsecondary school within three years of graduating from PCHS or the awarded funds are forfeited.
  • Awards are committed only for the upcoming school year.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher, or approved exemption.
  • Enrolled as a full-time student at a 2 or 4-year accredited post-secondary school or certificate program.
  • Met with college or university academic advisor each semester.
  • Met Bright Futures college program requirements for attendance, participation, and communication.
  • Completed spring college budget review meeting with Bright Futures coach.
  • Gave back to the Bright Futures program with 5 or more hours of volunteer service, or will schedule volunteer service hours before the start of the next school year.

  • Friday, April 8, 2022 - applications open
  • Tuesday, May 15, 2022 - applications close

  • Image of your transcript showing your cumulative GPA
  • Image of your schedule for the upcoming Fall term 
  • Copy of your updated 4 year budget
