How to Apply:
Documents you will need to upload with your application:
- One Bright Futures student who meets scholarship requirements may be awarded a yearly scholarship award of $5,000, up to a maximum of four (not necessarily consecutive) years, while enrolled in college.
- If you do not plan to enroll in college immediately upon high school graduation and wish to defer your scholarship until a later date, you must apply for the scholarship in the spring of your senior year of high school.
- You must be enrolled in a postsecondary school within 3 years of graduating from PCHS or the awarded funds are forfeited. Any request to defer the scholarship grant to later years must be requested and approved in writing by the Selection Committee.
- If you are awarded a scholarship, you do not need to reapply in subsequent years. However, you do need to verify that you meet the eligibility criteria for Years 2-4.
- Awards are committed only for one academic year at a time.
Eligibility Requirements:
- A Hispanic student (of at least 50% Mexican origin) in good standing for at least two years at Park City High School
- A first generation college student participating in Bright Futures
- Cumulative weighted GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Accepted to an accredited 4-year college or university
- Demonstrated financial need

How to Apply:
- Gather required documents
- Complete the application form in Submittable, which includes an essay outlining why you want to go to college, your goals for the future, and how college will help you reach your goals.
Documents you will need to upload with your application:
- This Information & Signature Sheet, completed with all required signatures
- Image of your transcript showing your most recent cumulative Park City High School GPA
- Image of your acceptance letter from at least one 4-year accredited college or university
- Three letters of recommendations speaking to your academic and/or career potential. At least one letter shall be from a core subject teacher (English, History, Math, Science)
- Note: Letters of recommendation are uploaded by the recommender, not the applicant.
