Range Scholarship

Information for Returning Students

General Info:

  • If you have received the Range Scholarship for Year 1 of your college career, you do not need to reapply in subsequent years.  However, you do need to verify that you meet the eligibility criteria for returning students.
  • The scholarship award is $5,000, up to a maximum of four (not necessarily consecutive) years, while enrolled in college.
  • Awards are committed only for one academic year at a time.  

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Cumulative college GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Be a full-time student, as defined by your college or university
  • Have completed 30 hours of volunteer services to Bright Futures per school year

Important Dates:

  • Tuesday, February 1, 2022 - applications open
  • Sunday, May 15, 2022 - applications close

How to Apply:

  • Gather required documents
  • Complete the Eligibility Reverification form in Submittable.

Documents you will need to upload with your application:

  • Image of your transcript showing your most recent cumulative college GPA
  • Your updated college budge
